Probably Locking Feedback Audible and Locking Feedback Visual in APIM.

APIM controls most of what you see/control via the Sync screen. Enabling those should put the toggles back in Sync.

Toggling them via Sync, most likely controls Audible Lock Feedback in BdyCM.

This wasn't coding that I changed - it was a SYNC3 Menu (Locks) option that is now - not there to disable!

This worries me. Sounds like you’ve been editing the As Built sections, which rely on tweaking hex and not flicking ‘switches’.

If you’ve done this. Who knows what else you’ve potentially changed/broken.

Did you take a backup?

Id be tempted to restore your backup, so you’re back to default and make your changes in the NON AsBuilt section, using the switches/toggles as per my screenshots in the linked thread.

The minute you’re messing with hex. You’re already in trouble.

I have learnt something though - I have made small revisions previously to Hex Codes for Mondeo's I have owned but didn't realise you could get into settings the way you have advised above - via configurable settings!

The Locking Audible Feedback (LFA) option was Disabled, so I enabled and it returned to the SYNC3 Menu - why it was there and disappeared, I have no idea. The changes I made would have no effect on that - the only thing I can think of is I did a SW update (downloaded from the Ford SYNC3 site) after I had set the LFA 'ON' and it was after that, that the option was no longer available.

Anyway - I have resolved the issue and the wife is back onside.
