At that mileage you could possibly have worn solenoids in the Mechatronic unit but I'd do clutches first and a re-learn.

The internal filter could do with changing but that's a gearbox casing split to replace.

No, not that I'm aware of.

You can buy an entire cluch drum assembly but I wouldn't know what the quality would be like.
Yes, I noticed. But prices are from 700,- euros. Plates are only 140 eur. Have seen both ways, in other videos they are just switching plates and refit and another they are somehow pressing and measuring clutch. I don't know what you can reach for measuring clutch because there's no any adjusting chances..?

Is it necessary to change steel plates also with friction plates ?

I've never seen a stack height or clearance listed, there was a rebuild manual floating around.

My be worth stripping it first as normally the steels can be re-used if they are still flat and not scored/ heat damaged.

Hello there all, don't know if its the right topic, but wanted to ask our powershift specialist @keithmac a question or anybody else who encountered this issue , found a gearbox that has a leak and its for as little as 500 euro, but I'm concerned the leak is from the clutch being too loose and on its way to dying, so i am wondering if its worth buying to have it as a spare and if the leak its a cheap fix, attached some photos

Thanks alot for any advice!

All the broken bits in yours will probably be broken in that one too.

You can't use the cases (no PTU mounting etc). Weather the Mechatronic Unit is identical is debatable (but possible, will require reflasing either way).

You'd have to look gear ratios up for both boxes.

I'd never use 2nd hand bearings, shift pistons etc so there's not much left to salvage imho.
