No it had a cover on it from new. Only had it 6 months but it definitely had one

 

Hi is that a picture of your own car, from the angle of the interior mirror it looks like a LHD. In which case it wouldn’t have a keyhole that side. Just my observation 👍

 

Just checked my 2020 plate Mk3, no cover.

 

I would suggest a main dealer visit

 

I wonder if it’s just a factory dust cover etc. I’ve never seen one.

You do right to ask. We have many new mk3 members, so maybe they can clear it up.

No cover on mine.

 

Just checked my car and there was no keyhole cover fitted from when the car was new.

 

Like I say, maybe a transport guard. 🤷‍♂️

I have just pick my Mk3 ST-line X kuga up and it has no key cover. My 2019 Mk2 ST-Line X had a cover fitted. If i seen this before I would have removed it before I part exchanged it in.

 

Not on mine - Built Sept 2020. Note, there is the flap where the key goes in, all it needs for weather protection.

 

I don't have a cover on mine either.

 

No cover on my 72 reg, nor the wife’s 22 reg Focus 🙁

 

My 24 plate kuga had one and today noticed it’s missing it’s bugging the life out of me I really would like to know if we can buy new covers

 

You can buy gel stickers in most colours off ebay and other sites that stick over the hole. They look much better and takes your eye away from the lock plus if you ever need to use the hole just peel it off to get access.
