Hi guys, new to the forum and new to Kuga. So far loving it, except having the same problem as you guys with the heated windscreen.

When I press the button, it illumines and goes off after about 5-6 minutes, which is normal, but during then no noticeable difference on the actual windscreen and it was cold when I put my hand on it. I went back to where I purchase the car from and they have kindly replaced the windscreen at their own cost, however still no joy. Checked the fuses but ran into the same conflicting info from the car manual, fuse F14 and F16 are not in use, the only thing related is the R7 relay as suggested in the previous posts.

My Kuga is also an ex-motability car but I would imagine heated windscreen is pretty much standard on all Fords. Any thoughts?

It had a Shatterprufe when I brought the car, then I went back to the dealer and they replaced with Pilkingron one without Ford logo on it.

I guess they didn't check the connections before replacing the windscreen, or is it pretty much standard to replace it anyway? The dealer is a bit far away from where I live and I am not prepared to travel to them any time soon.

The Kuga will be with a Ford main dealer next week for a powershift box service, I have asked if they can diagnose the windscreen as well, but it has been 2 days and they haven't go back to me about the windscreen issue yet, maybe they really have something to hide about this batch of Kuga? Mine was first registered Jan 2018.
