Mine will get its first clean tomorrow - done 500 miles since Monday & now its mucky & the O/H wants to go posing round Rutland in it on Sunday so it will need to be gleaming ( or life wont be worth living )....

It's normally the other way round in my house. I'm normally the one that's obsessed with cleaning the car as the wife couldn't care most of the time! It's holding up at the moment, as the sun has been out all this week. Plus I've been avoidingany puddles that I have come across so far

Must look quite ammusing, an awd avoiding puddles

Have fun reaching the middle of the roof. It's a **** of a stretch.

Having owned a frozen white ST as my last car I am biased and have got to say that looks stunning!!!

Easy way to solve the roof cleaning problem is to stand on the back wheel (holding onto the roof rail) to clean 3/4 of the roof and then cover the front door sills and stand on them to clean the rest of it

That's a good idea. I had to stand on a box yesterday and have since noticed from the upstairs window what a hash of cleaning the roof I'd made.

Thanks for all the comments. I aim to post more once I have cleaned it and found a decent location

Just to answer a couple of the questions that were raised:

No, I did not have any paint protection applied.

Yes, it was from Rates Cougar2Kuga, but the one I saw was a customers as he was there collecting it, and pointed out thatI had copied him! Although I only have the 18" alloys.

On a separate note - Whilst out and about yesterday I saw five Kuga's! 2 x Black, Silver, White, Avalon. Didn't quite feel as special......
