Wing mirror replacing Instructions

I think to replace the whole unit I need to unclip the base of the mirror which reveals 4 torx screws. I think I just have to unscrew these and then replace, connecting up the wires. Can anyone confirm.

I had to remove the door panel trim to get access to the multiway connector which links the car wiring to the mirror. It was not possible to reach through from the outside. Removing the door trim was a bitscarythe first time, but I had to do it twice, the second time I was more confident. Start with levering the door handle trim away using a kitchen knife blade wrapped with masking tape, to prevent making marks. remove the two big screws behind. Then firmly but without pulling toofiercelyrelease the panel from the door frame, starting at the base of the door. Once the first clips release the others can be seen and its easier to see where the rest are. I broke one of the clips, but it went back togetherOKwithout that one. You can remove the door trim completely if you disconnect the door wiring loom for the speakers and windows.
