PHEV Battery charge depleting very quickly

Does anyone know if this is something wrong? My PHEV battery charges fine, says it has 29 miles of charge, I drove 2 miles and it went down to 17. It’s 10 degrees outside so not particularly cold. It does this pretty much all the time, not sure about warmer temps yet. Warranty runs out in April so I am wondering if it’s faulty… thanks

Same.
Have a full charge showing 35 miles at the moment.
Disappears more quickly at the start of use and more slowly towards the end.
Yesterday I started my journey by driving about 250 yards to the end of my drive and lost 2 miles predicted range.
I reached my destination after five miles but my range showed 22 miles left.
Came home the same way and it showed 17 miles left (the correct mileage).
It may also frustrate you to observe the range when you switch off and then restart the vehicle later, as I lose five miles there too.
Obviously the Kuga has driven off, had a high old time and returned, all while I had lunch.
Ford calculations drive me up the wall and I can already feel that nerve at my temple pulsing again.

I got 22 miles yesterday 100 to 0 soc. It was cold 2-5C and the heater was on but 50% of expected capacity?

How much did it cost you for the updates ?
They may have been included as part of the last recall (FSA 23S27), as mine were.

Here I am looking at the new kuga to change and have decided NOPE.
Having had mine for nearly two years now, I'd say it depends on what you need, how you use it, and the car itself.
It's 6°C here atm, but my battery range indicator is showing 48 miles and realistically I'd expect to see 35-40 of that, even in this temp.
I only drive less than 20 miles normally, so easily enough to cover by EV only at £0.07/mile.
I will need to go 100 miles tomorrow, which will reuire some ICE at £0.13/mile.
But I'll partially recharge before I come home again.
My '71 plate usually sees around 65-70 miles EV (£4.86 with regen), and 25-30 on the ICE (£3.90).
That's £8.76 against my old diesel Jag's £22.00.

I'm fortunate in that the potential saving isn't why I bought the car.
But I record it anyway and I'm aware of its' costs; the PHEV is still ridiculously cheap (to run at least), if that's a factor for you.
Last month was quite an expensive month for me, but it was still achieving 49 mpg.

I understand (I don't know, but) the latest Kuga PHEV is a little better on range and cost.

I have both but for the module to self-enable is actually quite worrying. I keep expecting the bloody thing to say " I'm sorry Dave I can't do that!"

What is actually more worrying is the collision avoidance assistance module lighting the dashboard up like a Christmas tree and then disappearing as fast as it turns up when I'm driving on a road with wide verges and not a single other vehicle on it.
Ditto.
No signposts lampposts; pedestrians; squirrels.
Let's hope that the fully autonomous driving technology (which Ford is already licenced to operate in the U.K.) is not developed by Ford !!!

There you go 3.5 owners, the answer has been staring you in the face, and @Gooding89 has rumbled it.
Reverse up the hills, completely fools the car 👍
If only it fooled the odometer as well!
