That does however sound like a big drop and I’d be talking to my Ford dealer and asking if there is a software update or a recall.

Well, my daughter has just chipped in her ageing high mileage x trail for a 21 plate VW Tiguan 150 diesel 4motion and she stirred my interest in changing.

Nightmare really, as I thought I’d put it to bed for another year or two.

Ford are doing some interest free deals on the new Kuga PHEV. Not all new cars are of are unreliable but when I read of the issues for the new mk3s 12v battery issue (still), who wants that kind of anxiety.

I recently visited Evans Halshaw Ford in Batley.

The sales chap was very honest and said the 47 was realistically 33 ish on a new Active PHEV.

The FHEV does seem to be a very different stable mate.
