Ok so my views on changing to a petrol.
I had a MY 16 150 TDCI tit sport 2wd 44 ish mpg with 33k on the clock but fancied a bit newer car, So i found a MY 18 150 bhp st line petrol with 4k on the clock, Normal garage test drive 10 min round their set route and all seemed fine.
I bought the car, After 5 weeks the car was up for sale !! So so underpowered it was painful to drive and fuel economy was low to mid 20's , Ok it may have been better on a long run but no not for me.
So now have a MY19 180 TDCI st line AWD with 8k on it and back to been a happy Kuga owner again getting again mid 40's mpg.
Also there seems to be more than the odd complaint about head gasket problems, Which ford just keep burying their heads in the sand about and really don't seem to want to help out with costs to fix the problem.
