In 2019 I hope to be doing a Euro trip in my 2litre 150 HP diesel kuga and have been trying to roughly work out what sort of distance I will be able to do between fill ups, I havent had my Kuga long enough or done any long trips to do an assessment, I should mention that there will be two of us plus camping gear, Would any one have any idea what distance or MPG I can expect to get. Many thanks in advance.

What version of 1.5EB do you have? If the 150bhp, how many km (mls) do you get from a full tank at 75-80mph? I'm also wondering about the mpg at that speed that you acheive - I'm just under 8l/100km (or 35uk MPG).

Thanks in advance!

Well even the 420 miles range is really good to be honest, for a 1.6 tones petrol SUV (far away from my old 1.6TDCI Focus MK2 tho, which had a -(-550 miles-)- 680 range from a 53l tank xD). I'm about to have a 950 miles trip in november with 3 persons in the car, so until then I have to make some calculations.
Thank you for the response! :D

There are so many variables to take into consideration when asking this question. Fuel quality, tyre make and pressure, driving style, environmental factors, weather etc. You could give two people the same car and each get different results.
I would check on the routes you are taking and plan to fill up at certain fuel stations along the route rather than worry about how far. I'd probably use a headline mileage of 300 miles between fills to allow a safety margin to ensure you do not run out.

To Nigel B. I owned several diesel cars before and I love them but now they makeing mot harder to pass for diesel vehicles and there is more to be worry about as dpf filter..... My last car was volvo v60 1.6 t4 petrol 180bhp and average consumption wasn't bad at all so I decided to get petrol suv. I knew that consumption is going to be worst so I was prepared for it. I love my kuga. ?
