I have a message arrived on the screen in my 2021 kuga titanium diesel which says that the exhaust filter is overloaded, drive to clear, my question is, how long should I drive and at what speed to clear it? Thank you in advance.
I had a 1.5ltr Eco Blue Diesel Mk3 and never had any DPF issues, probably due to a regular 45 Minute journey on M57 and M62 motorways and ‘A’ roads Into Liverpool.
My advice is to drive in a low gear (3000 RPM or higher) on a motorway for 20/25 minutes. I often did this as a preventative action to clean the DPF while driving to work.
