I'm thinking of fitting a ford dashcam in my Kuga....any thoughts

Nextbase every time. The Ford ones are way overpriced.

My Nextbase cost £18 to fit (cost of the fitting kit), took under ten minutes and was simplicity itself with just two connections.

Pick an ignition controlled fuse (Fuse 3 as example) and you have zero risk of battery drain.

Feed it from the 12 volt sockets on one of the USB outlets then. I certainly wouldn't be paying the amount that Ford want to hardwire in a camera
