it would seem in cold/frost/freezing conditions, when left charging and you try to close the cover, the lack fails to work. I've had this a few times on mine now.

i have replied the other thread about this issue, for completeness, when it got warmer and unfroze I used an air duster to clear out as much moisture as I could and then gave it a little bit of WD40 - to disperse any mositure/water. this seems to have stopped it from happening.
