Battery replacement changing and BMS reset questions

My original Ford battery has had it. Wouldn't start yesterday, started easily using my jump starter. Gave it a charge and the charger quickly said it was fully charged but the car thought otherwise, it just about started but the sync 3 went into sleep mode and it's warning chimes sound all odd. Charged it again and charger said fully charged (about 13v) after only few mins but after leaving it to rest for a bit was only 11.5v. I'm assuming old battery won't hold charge, it is 7.5 years old though.

I plan to fit a new Bosch start/stop battery tomorrow and reset the BMS.
My question is - if I were to charge the new battery/top it up to check it's all ok a few days after fitting do I need to rest the BMS again? Do you reset the BMS after a battery charge (with battery fitted in the car) or is it only after an actual battery replacement?

BMS reset only once. I charged mine before I fitted it.

EFB 110 is the correct type. I fitted Yuasa from GSF. Cheaper when you reserve online.

Ditto,
I fitted exactly same without a top up charge, and BMS reset via Forscan
