Had to call the AA out over the weekend as my son left the interior lights on in the car and I didn't notice and didn't drive the car for a few days, so had a flat battery. Not totally flat as it still had about 6v in it.
Interestingly the car went crazy, telling me the key was outside and I had to stop the car to operate.
Anyway, car all fine now and my question is how long will it take to fully charge the battery?
I spoke to the local ford service desk and they said within an hour of driving, so I have been out and managed about 100 miles on the motorway and it seems fine. The AA man also said that it would charge back quite quickly.
Looked around the t'interweb and some people say that the car can't charge it's battery back to full.
Any ideas?
thanks
