Had this come up on my Sync 3 yesterday, and VR is now not working. I haven't done any software updates recently, and the VR has been working fine (I use it regularly to make phone calls). Could I have had some sort of update (failed) over Wi-fi?

I've yet to do a master reset to see if that helps, though I'd ask on here first to see if anyone else has had this happen.

Happened to me on Friday.

No need for a master reset but needed a couple of lock/unlock cycles with a ten minute gap to reset things.

That's promising, been reading cases of replacement modules and God knows what.

Well that's good, a couple of cycles and it is back working. Me being me I'd like to know what caused it though!

My Sync 2 does the same randomly for USB music. It's good to see Ford have kept some of the "features" from Sync 2.... :mad:
