I've only done 50miles and intend to tow my small aprox 400kilos speed boat to the coast this weekend should I get a few more miles on the car before I start towing?. Any caravaners out there. any reply before 6 tomorrow (fri) would be good.

We towed a 1296kg MTPLM Caravan 150 miles after picking the Kuga up. Have now done 15k miles and had 15 trips with the van, longest being Peterborough to Dorset.

She is a fantastic towing platform and towing so quickly after picking her up does not seem to have caused her any problems.
