Hi All, had Kuga for five days now and have to keep going to the window to (look) check, the more I look at it the more I think that the Ford Kugacould become adesign classic (well OK until the Iosis comes out) but in a certain light it's lines are quite stunning, and you can see BMW, andMerc owners drooling with envy as they pull away passed you every single time from the lights (that lazy1st gear)Whoops sorry been staring for far too long now, think I'm gonna have to lie down. Lol Bob.

it's not so much a lazy first gear but it is a heavy beast to get started off the block. it zips along nicely once moving over 20 mph. It's really the turbo and fuelling being set up for a 'car' not an offroader etc so not much torque at bottom end and two gears are very close in ratio's soyou spend most of time changing gears rather than accelerating etc.
that said compared with my old escort mexico, fiesta S etc it the most enjoyable car I have owned. lots of fun, capable and sure footed. good styling just wish I have the blue tooth and electric folding mirrors!

hopefully they wil fot a variable vane and bigger turbo with better mapping fo rlow end torque next uplift. will be extremely capable vehicle then. Should Ford motor co be looking at these boards? please fit LCd lights to rear as an upgrade or model uplift soon. thanks and Get rid of those silly 'scuff' plates not worth a fart in a fog. Only teh stainless steel ones are any good and should be standard and optional for rear.

Totally agree with you. I'm the same about the folding wing mirrors. you pull into a space with this really nice car then have to push mirrors in yourself!Itsgood when people admire the Kuga but kinda wish the mirrors folded!, and you dare not to leave them outwhen parked asa lot ofother drivers or pedestrians are not quite so careful! And agree with the LED lights, was a bitdisappointed when I realised they hadnt put them on the Kuga, but hey cant have everything!!

Its so true, everything posted on this thread is as if I had said it myself
. especiallythe first two gears and the wing mirrors. If someone does damage a mirror (don't even go there!) think of the expense and I wonder if the (damaged indicator) system will still work at all untilrepaired.

Ford dropped "my rear folding trays" I was gutted Igenuinelyhad no idea, the salesman said nowtuntil delivery, so folding mirrors like the rear trays would of been very useful or even roof rails as a substitutionlets face it no big deal forFord'sso called top of range Kuga Titanium. You would think thatduring thecredit crunchmotor manufacturers would be falling over themselvesadding more stuff tomake a sale and not removingfeaturesand not telling you. Very Cheeky Bob.
