Pick my Kuga up next Friday
so have been doing the obligatory shopping around for insurance quotes.
I've been driving a company car for the past 4 years and my company have given me a letter stating that I've had 1 accident that all costs were recovered from the other party. Because someone else hit me, I'm no longer eligible to use 4 years driving record towards my no claims (which would have been a lesser discount than for "normal" drivers anyway).
Pushed my premium from £417 to £525
I also get none of the years driving that I had before my company car taken into account, which I knew.
These companies really are legalised con merchants
