What's your favourite drive? Have you tried any lanes, 'green roads' or trails that you would recommend?


It might be interesting to see where peeps are taking their cars and rating the experience like 'easy' to 'don't even think about it!.... Maybe a Google map link or two to help find the way?

Done 600 miles last weekend... Here's some of the places i went!



1) eastnor castle... big LR off road site

2)A44 oxford to evesham (fish hill) fun up or down

3) A40 ross-on-wye to huntley - twist & turns

4) country lanes around bath (A420 to lansdown race course)

5) langdon hills (thurrock essex) - lots of country lanes

Two weekends ago I drove from near Barcelona to a ski area called La Molina, which is almost on the French border. I used the N-152 and had a real whizz! not a straight bit of road for more than a 100 meters it seemed!! Can't wait to do that run again!

The ski-train is really popular, and lots of day skiers use that and then take a free shuttle bus to the ski lifts from the railway station! It's a bit slow though, as it does need to climb to 1600M and runs in tunnels through the mountains a lot! Not such a nice view out of the windows, then!
