Just purchased my first Kuga Titanium X on a 19 plate. 12,000 miles, was an Enterprise rental car, registered 26-JUN-19. Just noticed today that the FNS alloy wheel has peeling paint on it.
The others are all fine and unmarked... surely this can't be corrosion.... These 19 ins 10 spoke wheels part no 1990386 are also used on the Mondeos.
Going to try for a warranty or goodwill payment.... Full price they are £300 but you can get a new one for just over £200 if you shop around. Anyone any suggestions ??

Would think it defiantly should be carried out under warranty as it seems to be coming of in big lumps. Thought first of all it may have been poorly repaired kerb damage but once you look at the pics it isn’t, it seems like the metal wasn’t prepared correctly and the paint hasn’t stuck. Can’t see how they can refuse a free repair or replacement.

Should definitely be a warranty claim.

Clearly not damage, just poor prep by the looks of it.
