Hi guys,

looks like the NSF door actuator is on its way out, doesn’t always lock/unlock and can take a few clicks to get it working….. worse in the cold. The rest of the locks are all fine.
Seen some posts about replacing the motor in the lock but it looks like an absolute mission with window out handle off, and then taking apart the mechanism.
Has anyone done this and is there any other way round it? Im a fairly confident home mechanic but this looks a bit of a faff

Have you tried the mechanics best mate, WD40, just in case the linkage etc is dry.

Yeah that was first port of call, tried that a few times, going to take door card off and see if I can get closer to the mechanism and try again but not sure it’s gonna solve it sadly

Great minds.

Door cards…..m experience of them has never been a good one, due breaking clips etc.

Think U Toob would be having a visit to see how others did it first OR let others reply.

Hi Chris,

Did you ever get this sorted, I have looked into this and it seems like a bit of a nightmare. there are a few videos with the escape from the USA and apparently its the same. Cant believe how much of a pain it is compared to others.
