hi, is there any way to turn off the pass. airbag. i would like to put a babyseat in the front. there's no switch in the glove box. should i of specified this switch when ordering. its standard on most other cars. my qashqai had one

Its a dealer fit option as far as i know

Get in contact with your dealer they can retro fit one for approx £150. We had one retro fitted in my wifes Fiesta Zetec S before she got the Kuga. The kit cosisted of a key operated switch in the glove box and a warningicon that illuminates when you have the airbag switched off. The warning icon is located on your switch panel in one of the spare spaces.
I couldn't believe that Ford don't fit this as standard, as most other manufacturers do.

as far as I am aware they option to turn off the passenger airbag is already there! I have read about how to do it in the owners manual. check it out.
