Well we are picking up our new Kuga on Saturday and taking it straight to Paintshield in Grantham.
Paintshield is a 3M plastic coating applied to the paintwork to protect from stone chips etc.

Its having full bonnet, front bumper and front wings covered.

I have this fitted to my st and after 19000 miles not a blemish until the other day!

Bloody great stone hit the bonnet, made a small hole in the plastic but saved the damage to the paintwork.

Great thing is if the film gets damaged paintshield will replace under warranty, I called them and no problem. Getting bonnet re-done free.

Great service, great product!

Its not cheap, the ST was around £800
Thats Full Bonnet, complete front bumper, Complete wings, skirts, rear wheel arches and a protective strip over the back bumper

The Kuga is a special price of around £500 as they have to do the design the first time they do a new car.

I would of thought around £650 as its only full bonnet, wings, bumper

I'm having a dirty great dent/chip repaired on my Scirocco bonnet next week. VW approved bodyshop are going to repair the damage and spray the whole bonnet for £250.
