Hi All,

New to the forum and looking for some advice.

I had started smelling some oily /exhaust fume in the car when driving after about 10 mins, checked and this appeared.

There was a lot of oil deposits and carbon like deposit under the engine cover. Father in law has changed the spark plug seals and tightened a few of the bolts ( you can tell I’m not mechanical cat you), however there still appears to be oil deposits even after cleaning it all up.

Any advice on what we could look for as the next fault?

You mention spark plug seals, but that looks like a diesel set up.

So when you mention the “seals” do you mean the injector sealing washers? You mention your not mechanically minded so may have to ask.

We had a very similar issues a few months back, was that you? 👍

An updated vehicle signature would also help.
