For info, Focccus does not work on anything later than 2015 so you would need to use Forscan which is a much better program anyway. Focccus is quite unstable and I wouldn't want to be doing anything in the BCM with it, do so at your own risk!

Anyone uses the above procedure and ends up with a large expensive paperweight, the forum will not be held responsible.

Yes it will unlock, or it should but it can't be 100% guaranteed, that's why it's not on from factory.

Nissan had the same issue, we had the facelift model and it had auto locking but when we changed it to the new shape later it didn't have it. We had a C4 Picasso in between and it had auto locking.

It's no different to someone locking it by the button which is what most people actually suggest you do instead of enabling it automatically, it would be different if it super locked it like it does when you double press the lock button.
