Hi all,

Apologies if this information is readily available, I have searched these forums and googled to no avail.

Our 2008 Kuga Titanium X has the large silver headunit/centre panel with built in satnav. As it's very dated now I want to replace it. I've found a lot of info on replacing the 6000 unit but I can't even work out what the unit I have is called. It appears to be part of the centre console rather than the 6000 which looks as though you can just lift it out with 4 keys.

All the adapter kits I can find aren't compatible with anything other than the standard 6000 unit. Surely there must be a way to upgrade the satnav?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

The unit you have is a blaupunkt nx sat nav. I had one of these in my Tit X many years ago.

Many thanks Stupot, searching with the headunit name has come up trumps. Apparently I'll need to get a separate heater panel, then a standard double din unit will fit in a fascia above that.
