Hello to all happy (I hope) KUGA owners!

Im from Slovakia - Im not actually a Kuga owner - but I very consider to buy one. Its realy very nice car, I realey like it - but to be honest - Im little bit scare with all the complains abut the reliability, quality and failures... I know Kuga is a new model, so every new model has its "teething problems" and no car is perfect - but it seems to me, that there are more problems with Kuga, that I would expected from a new Car...
So I would like to asks you - If you can make time traveling before you buy your Kuga - would you buy Kuga again? :) Wish you a nice day and greetings from Slovakia!!!
P.S. sorry for my not so good English

Hi Patrick,

As ariesx20 says welcome to the forum.

Although I've only had mine for 3 weeks it would take something monumental for me to have second thoughts about buying another Kuga.

Having had a number of Fords in the past (MkIII Fiesta, MKIV Escort,MKII Focus, MKIII Mondeo) I have to say that the Kuga is the best I've driven and from the moment I first sat in it, it just felt so right for me.

I hope, if you decide to buy a Kuga, that your experience is as enjoyable as mine has been so far.

Hello ariesx!!

Thankx for your reply!! Thats great, wish my "future" Kuga will be so good
When I spoke with Ford dealer here in Bratislava (capital of Slovakia) he told me, they have sold just 10 Kugas till now (sells from the end of 2008). One of these had DPF problem
one CD player problem... so in generaly no big complains, but you know - just 10 Cars

maybe 10 cars because of the price. Is your country wealthy?? What is average price of a car and is the Kuga higher?? They are only in low production, in UK we are limited to production, I and I think many others see this as a positive??

I too have done nearly 20k Miles and nothing serious wrong with it (considering I bought mine launch week!).

I would not hesitate having another Kuga.

Hi Patrck,
as it was already said you wil hardly hear from us that it is not worth to by KUGA. If you go to renalut forum for example they will claim that Kalos is the best probably. Anyway. As far I know there are not so many KUGAs built till now which might be advantage and disadvantage. I also had some doubts about this (actually about potential problem with finding spare parts) but anyway for new cars you have to by them by the official dealer as there are still no replacements from third contries(e.g turkey, etc).
if there are only 10 KUGAs sold in Slovakia you'll be the 11th one
. No many others like you.
And yes it is a new car(first gen) so there might be some problems that is true but as it is based on focus let's hope there will be nothing serious.
Probably it is not so bad idea to sit down and think what do you want (pros and cons) of course the price (frankly if there was no big discount here, I wouldn't hardly buy mine) So the price counts.
As final I have mine for much more than a mounth, till now I have 1700km even off-road and no complains. No rustle.

Go to your dealer and do the test drive if you haven't done it yet. I did this twice before taking my decision and I'm happy.

Good luck!
