For your info folks.....

Key changes to Kuga, with an introduction date of August 2009 Production.....

<UL>
<LI>New Metal Grey seat fabric with 'Antimon' trim on Zetec: Replaces the Orange and Blue centre console and seat executions. Metal Grey trim will be introduced once the existing Zetec orderbank has been serialised. This is likely to be completed by 30th July 2009.</LI>
<LI>Introduction of Kuga Individual option pack on Titanium. </LI>
<LI>Fuel tank capacity upgrade: The fuel tank fitted for diesel and petrol engines increased from 56 to 66 litres from production after April 23rd 2009. This increases the range of the 2.0TDCi by almost 100 miles.</LI>
Complexity Reduction Actions
In line with the ongoing policy of reducing product complexity, a significant number of low take options have been removed from the Kuga range. In addition, the colour and trim line up has been simplified by replacing the Orange and Blue Zetec interiors with Metal Grey and deleting the Tango body colour.

As a result, Kuga order combinations are reduced by almost 90%.

A new brochure for Kuga, detailing the 2009.5 MYline up and spec will be issued during Q3 2009.

Zetec Interior Trim:

<UL>
<LI>Metal Grey seat fabric replacing both Generic Blue and Generic Orange colourways</LI>
<LI>'Antimon' door grab handles and centre 'H' bezel replacing both Blue and Orange executions.</LI>
<LI>Will be introduced in production as a running change</LI>
'Individual' Option Pack
<UL>
<LI>Premium Ebony leather embossed with the 'Individual' logo and grey piping</LI>
<LI>Polished stainless steel scuff plates and floor mats with 'Individual' script</LI>
<LI>Piano black 'H' bezel and door handles</LI>
<LI>Aluminium pedals (manual transmission only)</LI>
<LI>19" alloy wheels, aluminium roof rails and privacy glass</LI>
<LI>Available on Titanium only</LI>
wow, big changes for the Zetec then, I'm just trying to work out when my Titaniumwas built, whether it was befoe or after the date for fuel tank increase? Suppose better range, just more depressing when you fuel up.

They seem strange changes considering some of the other faults which have come to light??
