The videos I watched look like a direct replacement and pretty simple, I think you need to make one cut, but you can totally put the old stereo back in if needs be.... can try find the video if you like?That's looks pretty cool, and probably has a lot more functionality, like playing video etc, but nowhere near brave enough to try installing it
He has sync 3. What you are selling is only compatible with sync 1.

It's great. One problem though, my mcguyver brackets have shifted so the screen has moved slightly and it squeaks...think it's time to fabricate some proper ones! 👌
Mcguyver brackets ?? That's a new one on me. I made mine from some 20mm X 2mm steel bar and bent them to shape in the vice. Some little feet brackets and the top part was a bit complicated. Slotted all the holes to give me some tolerance and then secured with M5 set screws with nyloc nuts. I would do it differently next time and remove all the plastic. It may get modified at some point if I get my hands on a Sony fascia or put a sync 3 screen in. Depends if we decide to drop to one car or not.
