In the RAF there is a concept of "Fleet Leader" which means the plane that flies first and most, covers more flying hours first, and therefore logically hits service and repairmilestones first - the info is then used to predict maintenance schedules for the rest of the fleet......

It would be interesting for forum users tolet the rest of us know what happened at what mileage and how much it cost to fix / service etc.

The highest mileage I've seen mentionedis about 5K. Has anyone done a lot more than that - or even had a first service yet? If so let us know...

Hi, just got back to Peterborough after holidaying in Dorset towing a Caravan and hit the 6k miles just as we got back home. I must say that the Kuga handled all the hills with flying colours.

Only fault so far (fixed under warranty) was replacement gear change cables to fix an annoying rattle. Other than that it is a fantastic car.
