Hi everyone kindly assist. I have a 2013 ford kuga 1.6 ecoboost. it has 110000km on the clock and the engine was reworked after an overheat. the problem is now when you start it the temperature gauge jump to high under 3 minutes of idling and displays high engine temp stop safely. i have had most part replaced including the thermostat and engine temperature sensor. If anyone has encounter such and managed to resolve it please assist

What was damaged during the earlier overheat?

cylinder number 4 so i had to replace the whole bottom half replace and had the cylinder head redone

Sounds like who ever did the work needs to check it for any blocked waterways.

Has it had all the relevant factory recalls done on the cooling system? The 1.6l is well known for overheating problems.

Yes i did. I have taken out the head again and sent it back to engineering for the to check the valves and do a pressure test. Will update when i get it back sometime this week
