Just registered on here.
I went into the local dealers to look at the S-Max yesterday, and came out with a Kuga brochure.
I have just been trawling the review and first drive websites to see what people think of the Kuga.

I am very very keen - perhaps popping along to the dealers tomorrow too

Hi skywalker,
I have been the same route as you.I am a member of the S-Max owners club and have been learning about and considering the S-max for some time and I think it is a supperb car I had doubts about it's overall size on ther road and did I really still need 7 seats which is what I have driven in the past. And then i saw the Kuga brochure and started investigating on the web. I found lots of information ,pictures and road tests.I am very impressed and finds it ticks most boxes. waiting to see a real one , anybody know when they are due in the dealers? They are not cheap but the spec is high and with the options listed it should suit most people.

One query, although it shows the classy 19" wheels it does not list them or price them as an option.

Hi All!

Can't believe there's an owner's club already!! Good news though. Am going to test-drive one today - I'm told the demo is a Sea Grey Titanium with the Appearance Pack, just the spec I'd like to order.

Currently got a facelift CMax Titanium in Sea Grey - great car but a bit plain, so when I started reading that Ford was going to do the Kuga, and then finally saw the production version, I decided to take things further. What's more, the wife is well up forit too!

Will report back with findings asap.

Cheers

As promised, test drove today and it was great. Feels much tighter on the road than the CMax, seems to corner better (strange being taller) and the interior mods lift the cabin nicely (it's a CMax dash and doortrims).

The salsman knew his stuff, and didn't get flustered when we ran out of fuel while out on demo! Gave me a chance to nail him on price though while we were waiting for a colleague to bring a can of diesel from the dealership. Managed to get nearly £500 off, on top of the £2000 Ford employee discount.

In summary, it's the best small crossover on the market IMO.

hiya mate,
i've not even been told by my local dealer when they're expecting a demo ... and i've still not got an answer on the question of those lovely 19-inch wheels .. ARE they an option?! they are in the brochure. ive ordered a sea-grey titanium with the convenience pack (front/rear parking sensors, auto-folding mirrors, dipping rear-view) & 18's at the moment ... anyone else managed a discount ... i was politely told 'no'!

Hi there!

Just registered on the site, was surprised to find an OC already!!

Kuga looks and drives great, seen both specs with some of the options.

The 19" alloys will be available as an accessory (i.e after delivery) later this year. There's no price of FINIS codes for them yet.

Currently own a 1H2007 Mondeo 2.0 Edge but due to just getting a caravan and finding the Mondeo lacking plus a back injury making it difficult to get out of we went to our local dealer to look at a C-max and ended up ordering the Kuga instead.
Ticks my issue of access due to my back, towing capacity for the Caravan (plus the AWD will help on CL sites) and the looks (I vowed never to go for 4WD and am converted)

After some issues sourcing a Towbar, the dealer has ordered the parts through their Spares Department and it gets fitted by their specialist towbar fitting partners on Tuesday next week. I will be the proud owner of a Kuga Zetec by the first week of June

Fantastic that there is an OC already.

just had a call from the dealer ... we can't order the 19s ... had to settle for the 18s. oh well. apprarently the 19s might be an option by the time the car arrives in august ... and can be specified quite late up to delivery.

Hi!

19" alloys will be available as a factory order as Titanium Alloy upgrade and should go live in the next couple of months. Can't remember the price but I'll try and find out time and price for them!

Hi everyone

Should get a price for those 19" alloys this afternoon. As soon as I get the price, I'll post it on here. The wheels should be able to order from June 18th and Electric White also goes live on the 18th.
