WOW this works a treat.

With the ignition off ...
Press and hold the SET button on the left hand stalk
Tap the POWER button to turn the ignition on (keep the set button pressed)
Hold the SET button until the screen pops up "TEST" then let go
Click the set button to scroll through the options
Gauge test
You can pick one then start the car as normal (such as digital speed)

Yes it will if you select it

- but I haven't found a way to make it"stick" ... unless you leave the ignition on all the time ...

Isn't that the dash diagnostic mode? It should show your dtc's etc. I think there is a list of what they are on the ford wiki site (look under mondeo as it does the same). If it wasn't on there its on stdrivers. I think it's just te way you access the mode that's different. Edited by: Big Sig

Might need someone to confirm it works on the European models but there is a gauge sweep on the mark2 Kuga's as well.

Press and hold the OK button, then turnthe ignition on (keep the OK button pressed until the test mode comes on)

Hi Westie
Yes, still lovin' the focus

I wish that Ford would allow the gauge sweep .. for goodness sake it's already in the software lets have some additional options in the menu .. how hard can it be, and it would look soo cool. No I haven't found a way .... yet ...
