no4 fuse live when switched off so camera would stay on all the time any ideas which one to use

It's fuse number 3 on the mk3

3 was the only one I could find that was switched with the ignition.

The wiring diagram for all the fuses I could be bothered to check pretty much said “Hot at all times”.

I don’t think I ever played/left it for 30 minutes to check the other fuses, to see if they did go off after time, but I just stuck with 3 and moved on. You could be right though!

i will give no3 a try i think it is a micro fuse,i,ll will have to get a micro piggy back adaptor thanks
