Just seen it quickly.

They use a Aerosol top to empty the filter body. I use a clear pipe and suck up the fuel (Clear so you can see it before a mouthful of diesel!)

Doesn't show the engine restarting, so presume self prime, and believe me will sound rough on initial start up.

Don't force ANYTHING, its plastic, and take your time.

Make sure everything is clean before reassembly, and wear gloves as diesel is nasty stuff on the skin.

I need to change ours, heard that many horror stories about sucking air in/ poor starting afterwards I've been putting it off!.

Done main few months ago. It's very simple to bleed. My kuga 180ps has priming pump it's activated by ignition. Just simply press ignition 3x per 30 sec (without cranking engine) and done. It starts without any problems.
