Bought the Kuga new in October last year and spec’d a factory fitted automatic towbar. My caravan has a Akko ATC anti sway device fitted this always worked perfectly well with my Mk2 Titaniam X with the dealer fitted towbar.
On coupling upmy van to the new Kuga no ATC, contacted the dealer who passed me on to Ford technical, after several months I have been informed by Ford they don’t wire pin 9. This is the positive live pin, and more to the point if I put a 12v supply or alter it in any way my warranty is null and void.
The Mk 2 was defiantly a better tow car.

Yes I had the same problem. My Ford dealer fixed it FOC by making pin 9 permanent live (an unofficial fix) . Everything works fine now inlcuding ATC, charging etc.
