Hi all, iv got the kuga in limp mode with a dpf fault. I have bought a new sensor and have been told it is on the side of the battery case but iv stripped it down and cant see it anywhere.
Can anyone help please? Where is the sensor?

Hi. Did you have any luck? I'm looking for mine but cant see it. There are screw holes where it should be on the battery casing, but no sensor.

Also, if you managed to find and replace, where did you buy your part?

Thanks

I ended up paying for vaporiser and dpf pressure sensor to be replaced, then a full DPF clean - about £800 in total

I dont know myself, but my mechanic said it was on a metal bracket attached to part of the dpf exhaust in the engine bay.

dpf sensors on models to 2012/13 were fitted to side of battery casing in engine bay. On later models the sensor is quiet different with just one rubber hose connection +electrical connection and fitted to a metal bracket next to the dpf under the car. The sensors also vary according to engine size.
