Done it myself a while ago, there's nothing to it, about 10' tops, however since their dimensions are not quite right, they don't clip into place, they need a piece of double-sided adhesive to stay put. Other than that, they work perfectly, and for what they cost (about 25 euros) this is a very decent "upgrade"
Really it's a 5' job, tilt mirror downwards, unclip mirror cover, unclip stock indicator, unplug it, plug in the new one (make sure you test for good connection by turning on hazards), test whether the new indicator snaps into place (if not, put a bit of tape between indicator and mirror casing), install mirror cover, tilt mirror into proper position, have a beer
There's no need to remove the glass (although it just snaps onto the motorized base and it's indeed rather easy to remove) since just tilting it downwards gives you access to the two clips holding the cover in place
Hi Kevjan I purchased the lamps.from flebay, see the link below they are quite good quality and have the ford logo and part no on the reverse of them. Not sure where they were made, but are reasonable for £19. I am pleased with them.
