Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a fault with the coolant hose on 171 St line it was rubbing all the coolant leaked out no warning lights came on I just noticed some smoke and a bit of a smell. It was recently serviced and it was missed

Didn't notice it and would probably have. I have just been reading about a similar problem with an older version the Ecoboost

Temperature gauges normally read coolant temperature rather than oil temperature, thus if all the coolant disappears it would presumably read zero rather than high.

The coolant, save in the event of catastrophic failure would not all disappear at once so the remaining coolant will rise in temperature.
