Just given my first kuga it's first wash! Do I need to clean the cloths I use every time? And what do you use to clean the bodywork? I used a sponge to clean then hosed off, dried the car then applied a wax and bugged off. Do I have to wash the buffing cloth every time? And how often is ok to apply the wax? It's a liquid wax

Depends how much work you want to put in, you can wax as often as you want but it is hard work, I polish mine about every 12 weeks and give it a going over with Meguiars quick detailer after a wash. I never use a sponge always a microfibre mitt and always clean my cloths after every use

Cut out all the hard work - there are plenty of wet wax`s available now, just wash the Kuga then spray the wax on one panel at a time then chamois/microfibre cloth dry - its waxed!

As already said, don't use a sponge. Get yourself a lambs wool mitt for around a tenner.
