Hi, newbie here, and hello, We have just got out 69 plate Kuga ST line, set up most things, the biggest headache is the mobile call buttons on the steering wheel, they do not seem to work with the paired mobile. All they do is change the radio station. Are we doing anything wrong? Any help for the simpletons would be good. After being a Vauxhall Zafira tourer owner for 7 years, nice to have a change.

Call buttons accept or reject a call, otherwise change stations or ff/rw media. To use phone from steering wheel press centre voice button and follow the prompts via voice

Here’s a tip, I find useful.

Like phoneman say, press the centre speech for the annoying Ford women who Whittier’s on OR if you have Siri on your phone press and hold the speech button until Siri talks and you can do most things from it.

You can simplify the Sync "voice" feedback if you learn the basic commands, and sort it in the settings menu for Sync 3... All you need to remember are things like "D-A-B", "F-M", "Phone", "Bluetooth", "Favourites" (these are Nav Favourites), "Previous destinations"...

Calling someone is simple if you know how the number is "described" in your phone e.g. if your Home phone number is under "home", just press the voice button and say "call home". The more you use Voice recognition, the better it gets

Thanks everyone, we were thinking it was like our old Vauxhall bluetooth where you pushed the accept phone button to make a call. The more we use the voice commands the better we will get, a bit like Alexa I guess, apart from Ford one doesn't answer back.

Press the voice command button then a voice should ask say a command ,,then you say something Like call Mam,,voice will say call Mam is that correct,,then you say yes,,then it says call Mam on mobile or home (whatever is put into your phone,,mines mobile of home),you say which one you want, then it dials the number for you.
if you dont hear a voice you need to take it back to the dealer or the woman (voice),is not talking to you,you not upset her have you lol.,,,not sure about this perhaps your volume is turned down or off,,but not sure if that makes a difference.
