i have found on utube the best way to remove battery on kuga 2016 or ford escape it says remove brake fluid holder and remove two screws each side of top cover witch is under wind screen first remove wind screen wipers after removing the cover it makes room to remove battery [hope you can understand my instructions] KUGA RON

I changed mine by removing the air filter and then removing the bracket on top and sliding it out
this will show you both ways
