I'm still keen to see the fitting instructions to decide whether to fit it myself or have it fitted, but have ordered the Ford detachable towbar yesterday, so will see how long it takes to arrive - the electrics kit is in stock, but isn't much good on its own!!

Sorry I ain't been in touch but the earliest the dealer can fit it is mon 8th. Don't think the bumper has to be cut but it does have to be removed. (dealer fitting mine free as part of a deal I did with them back in May when I ordered the car)

If anyone has any pics of any towbars... please post on here as the back end is quite a feature on the Kuga. I think we're all interested in how a tow bar might affect the looks and also what the ground clearance is etc. |

Got a Witter one fitted by the dealer. Looks good and decent ground clearance... I'll do some pics when it stops raining.

Thanks very much for the picture - I assume that its a fixed towbar rather than detachable?
Also, the Witter website is still implying that the electrics kit for the Kuga is not yet available - did you use a standard electrics kit or a special Kuga one?

Yeah... thanks v much for taking the time to post the photo.
I'm a bit concerned about the ground clearance (or lack of it!).

Hi Get the detachable towbar from Ford as it also has trailer stability built in and 13 pin euro socket might cost more than a witter but it is the correct one for the kuga
