Today I was contacted from the dealer where I bought my Kuga.
they said that I would get a good price for my Kuga as they have good resale values at the moment I was Thinking of changing it for a Titanium X 163 ps with automatic gearbox and the Titanium convenience pack. Has any members got Kugas with auto box's and are they pleased with them or any pitfalls and with the convenience pack is the key less entry any good and are there problems with it as I have to call the dealer Monday.

Hi,
Cant comment on the auto, as I've a manual. But I've got the keyless and have had no major problems with it. Minor issues:- takes a bit of getting used to when leaving the car and locking up, and sometimes doesn't 'find' the key even when I'm in the car - but lots of posts/comments on here about where you put it and interference from your mobile etc. All in all I find it great especially when it's raining and you've bags or such like in your hands! Cheers Phil |

Hi Titanium Kev,
I have had no problems with the keyless entry. As Philhill says being able to open the doors and tailgate without having to put things down is very useful in the rain. i also use the push button on the handles for locking so my keys very rarely leave my pocket. Cant help with auto box as mine is manual. Cheers, bayman

Hi Titanium Kev, I have a 2011 163 Powershift and Mrs Bob has a VW Tiguan DSG. Ford's Powershift is smoother, and quieter, Mrs Bob's DSG is swifter, gear shift panel is illuminated and it has a visual gear indicator, Ford for whatever reason does not, but the Tiggy DSG is very noisy and not as refined in comparison. Kev, if you have any questions, please PM me, glad to answer any I can.

Hi, yesterday I picked up my new 61 plate AWD 163 Auto and all I can say is its great it is so smooth and has so much more oomph compared to my previous 2WD manual I had for 2 years, not having to change gear is taking a bit of getting used to but its only been a day and after driving manuals only for 15 years I hope it wont take long!
I have the Titanium with apperance pack so cant comment on the X model and as that was considerably more in price for me so I hope to change to that one in 2 years again
Happy Driving Kuga79

I had a test drive in a Titanium X Auto on Friday as a precursor to ordering one. Must say I was really impressed. I've had 2 manual Kugas and I can honestly say that it was head and shoulders above them in terms of refinement and ease of driving.
I've got keyless entry on my current Kuga. After an initial short period of getting to know how the system worked and getting confidence in it , I now wouldn't be without it. Pick up the new Kuga on 1st March

I can't commment on the auto box as mines manual but the I'm going to follow the pack and agree with everyone else as far as keyless entry is concerned. Brilliant idea, no more hunting for keys just to put shopping away in the boot or wanting to get out of the rain and get going. Keys live in jacket pocket just walk up, climb in and go.

Hi Kev
I have the 2010 Tit. 163bhp, keyless and Auto. Tow a heavy trailer and find the larger engine faultless, and powerful. Keyless is great, early days meant I didn't trust the locking procedure, but now don't give it a second thought ! With regards the auto box generally superb, however it does seem to get confused sometimes. If your slowing down (at maybe a junction) then accelerate, it does ocassionaly seem to snatch, as if 2nd gear would have done, but changed down one more, not really a complaint, just a comment. Overall I would say yes, go for it, despite the slightly worse MPG. Hope your going for 4WD ? Tuggie
