Not a bad idea, worth a go. You can buy small in-line none return valves but I've only dealt with them on petrol cars.

Thought was with filter he will see if it is drawing air below this point have seen fuel lines going porous in the past

Yesterday started first time not an issue as i always watch the rpms they shot up to 750rpm and instant start....

This morning was 5 attempts and the 5th attempt no problem..
The first 4 attempts where it cranked and then almost started n the rpms dropped back.......

I had a chat with the guy who we bought our mk2 off at ford about the issue with the mk1...

He found out that behind the dash there was a loose wire connection and an earth wire problem......

Hope that helps some people......

Still leaking

It goes in for 4 days in a couple of weeks....

It would have been sorted last week but we need a courtesy car hence the wait...

Car is a far cry from our other lovely smooth ride.......


Recieved a phone call from ford this morning about 11am..
Their service/repair dept where told by their branch main man to get the problem sorted this week with a courtesy car aswell..
Apparently he found out that we had to wait over 3weeks for it to go in, anyway he said not a chance..
So now its in on friday......

The kuga is back at fords and we have a brand new KA+ brought from another dealer to run around in until ee get ours back....
