No DTCs at all....
I reset the throttle valve through the Forscan and chkd the MAF and sensor.
Chkd the Throttle sensor.
Chkd the fuel pressure rail and sensor.

I waited a few mins as i turned off the motor..
Then low n behold as i went through the start proceedure its started....

The kuga will now run all day without an issue....

Just spoken to a Ford tech at stranraer...
He as sugguested that we tap the power button on then off after the coil light appears about 4 times..
If it still does the same he sugguests it maybe the plugs will need changing..
Also he advises getting an injector test done aswell....

Here is a video of what forscan shows on a typical morning start...

https://youtu.be/y_4N0KdfTFk

Seeing as the bugger would not start im leaning to what the ford mechanic said that it could be the plugs.....

Just looked at the videos you've made.
Even though it's a modern diesel they will all keep running provided it is given fuel injected at the right time.
I still think it's having the fuel cut off or the injectors are stopping.
If it was the heater plugs it wouldn't start in the first place.

Yup, can't see it being the plugs as it's firing up.  It's either fuel or air.  If the throttle is opening and staying open then it must be fuel.

So that narrows it down to the sender pump..

As the kuga does not throw out any smoke from the exhust.

Not really, you have pressure so fuel seems to be at the injectors, if in doubt you need to confirm this (though I think you said it was).

So if its fuel starvation because its definitely starting so fuel is there, what is cutting it off?

What stops a diesel engine, maybe a couple of ways, via an engine stop valve (to stop fuel flow) or the injectors intentionally or unintentionally not opening.

But the injectors are working, as the engine is running, is there something stopping them operating.

You can actually hear your engine run for quite a  few revs before its shuts down.

So that then beggers the case what would cause that !
Could it be an interrmittant faulty crank sensor !
I ask that as they dont have to show a fault code....

Think more basic, or your mechanic needs to think more basic. The engine is briefly running, what would stop it running, primarily no fuel. So what could stop fuel coming out of the injectors.

1,  Injectors not actually operating (thats all injectors so its not just one so its unlikely to be an injector fault), so is the Engine Management actually not operating them after initail start for whatever reason. Yes could be an external sensor.

2, Fuel shut off valve closing, again what is telling it to close.

Were on page 6 here and no further finding the fault except that the engine is actually starting but not continuing to run.
