Hi all,

I'm interested to hear how the sets on ebay are wearing now?..I'm just about to order a set of side bars and just wondered about their quality?

Cheers

Luke

SmileHi All

Bought my side bars from Steelworks on flea-bay for £195  +free delivery
in early December. Arrived 2 days later, no instructions in box, phoned
Steelworks and they e-mailed me a copy. Not the clearest instructions
I have ever used, but after digesting them found the 2 captive 'T' bolts
were missing ( this may have been a similar scenario to what 'w17acko'
reported back in April 11). Anyway after further calls to Steelworks they
arrived, fitting was a piece of cake. It was touch and go time wise as I
needed to fit before returning to Spain otherwise, they would have been
travelling inside the car with us.Angry
So far still looking good, but we're not having snow and road gritting as
you guys are. Smile

Here is the side-steps I fitted today, £250 from 4x4-N.I.

Took less than 45 minutes, would have taken less time but I lost a bolt Embarrassed and it took me 10 minutes to find it.....

Didn't need a drill for this kit, it came with 4 special plates with bolts welded to them to slip into the holes already in the body, pretty simple install.

Hopefully going to be getting the MS Design DRL's if I can get them at a decent price.
