Hi geebers,
I bought my roof rails a few months ago, cost to me as a Ford retiree was £219.00 inc vat so the price in the link is about right, I seem to remember that the finis code had changed but the rails as far as I know are the same for all models. I had a local body shop fit mine, cost was 1 hours labour £30.00 and they are fitted from the outside and not the inside so don't let anybody fob you off. Ray

I can get the mechanics/fitters at my work to fit the rails so installation isn't a problem. Is your Kuga a 2011 model?
It's just is does say on both links i've looked at either 2008-present or 2008 - October 2010 giving the impression that the rails have changed in either size, design or shape after October 2010. So are you saying that if i bought either of the above rails they would both fit my 2011 car?
Sorry to keep harping on it's just you will appreciate the last thing i need is to order some and they don't fit. You would of thought there would be some titled october 2010 - present wouln't you?

Mine is a late 2009 but as I said as far as I know the rails are all the same, I would suggest contacting another Ford Dealer Parts Dept and get them to confirm the finis code and what vehicles it covers. Ford have been known to change finis codes but the part number is the same. Ray

I didn't order the rails as I read somewhere that you can just fit a roof-rack without them.
Then I wondered if it was talking about the Kugas without the glass roof... Is it possible to fit a roof rack without the roof rails, and with a glass roof?

I have mislaid (lost!) the bolts from the roof rail set, does anyone know what the bolt dimensions/spec is/are or where I can find out?
