HI Phill, Have they sorted your steering mode yet. Don't know what could cause this. Had my car a week now, keyless entry etc,and mine stays on sports mode setting no probs. Strange some are acting up. Let us know outcome for future ref.

Cheers.

Yes, please let us know the outcome as ours defaults back to comfort mode also.

Can't set the driver's door unlock only either.

Hi, What is the drivers door unlock you mention.

Cheers.

See Page 32 of the Owners Manual, basically on the remote you press both the lock and unlock buttons together for more than four seconds with the ignition off, to reprogram. The indicators will flash twice to confirm the change.

This reprograms the remote to unlock only the drivers door on one press and all doors on the second press.

To reprogram back, just do the same again.

Enjoy,

SPud. Wink

PS Just been out and reprogrammed mine and works all ok. But note the one press unlocks the drivers door only AND the boot !

Have tried this, but it doesn't seem to work on keyless entry.

My Kuga's Keyless entry, and it works fine. Well it you don't use the keyless entry and just operate the buttons on your remote in the "traditional" means of using a key fob for unlocking purposes. Wink

I returned my Kuga to the dealer because of the steering selection reverting back to 'Comfort'.  They did a 'software reset' and this has cured the problem.

Hi, Richard. Thanks for that.

We're they able to do it while you waited or was it a long job?

Just don't want to take it off the road for what is after all a pain in the ar5e rather than a major fault!

I might 'save it up' in case it needs to go in for anything else.

Cheers

Phil

Tried again but still no luck.

Will save it up together with steering reset for my next visit to dealers.
